Zara presents its latest Origins collection with ”Play It Again”
December 11, 2023
Metropolitana, in collaboration with the production company We Own The City and the director BYNT, is doing the color grading of Zara’s latest fashion film for its Origins collection, entitled ”Play It Again”.
Pause Mag tells us more about the campaign:
”Zara has launched a new collection under the name Origins, along with a short film directed by Bynt. Founded in 2019, the Origins collection aims to revamp the company’s menswear division through minimalist cuts and premium materials.
Titled “Play it Again,” the film follows Fisher Smith and Hank Korsan as they head home from a party in an old-school Cadillac. While Smith wants to go to bed early, Korsan insists that same night to listen to his perfected house mix.
The pair end up in a modern house, before entering what appears to be a lounge studio. In a real show of clothing utility, the couple dances around the room and out onto the balcony before heading out onto the lawn, where the film cuts.
This installment of Origins is a functional and basic take on menswear, with an emphasis on baggy pants, work jackets and elevated basics. The stars of this collection are the silk bomber jacket, the double-breasted, one-button suit jacket, and straight leather pants.”
