Nico Roig as speaker in a talk at the ISE 2024 show

On Thursday, February 1, our colleague Nico Roig, head of the 3D department, will participate in a talk organized by the Catalan Audiovisual Cluster, entitled ”Digital Humans”, at the ISE 2024 fair to be held at the Fira de Barcelona. In addition to Nico Roig, there will be the participation of Patricia Val, Partner and Executive Producer of Futura Space; Sergi Sagàs, Chief Innovation Officer of Hyperreal; and Cai Felip, CEO of Union Avatars. Attendance to this talk is completely free and will take place in Hall 4.

From avatar creation to hyper-realistic representation, digital humans are transforming the entertainment industry and brands. The boundaries between the real and the simulated are blurring, opening the doors to increasingly immersive experiences and new forms of social interaction. On the other hand, the star system is being reconfigured, where purely digital celebrities coexist with others rejuvenated thanks to technologies such as AI. In this session, we will look at the technological innovations behind digital humans and their future trends, addressing also the implications for digital identity management and protection and the new business models associated with them.

Integrated Systems Europe, often referred to as ISE, is the world’s largest AV systems integration trade show. This annual four-day event, held every February, is organized and managed by Integrated Systems Events.

Since the first edition of Integrated Systems Europe in 2004, the event has grown year on year. In 2020, they welcomed more than 1,300 exhibitors (with countless new product launches) and attendees made more than 116,000 visits to the show.
